Some lovely hand embroidery time…

hand embroidered pillow set

I was too lazy to work on a hand embroidery design….there is no definite reason to be lazy…just that i felt it is too much of work to trace the pattern and work on it…lol…how silly I’m…

This pillow set is ready to go to a special person in my life…

lazy daisy pillow set

It’s a simple pattern with some detached chain stitch….the very first embroidery stitch i learned from my mom, when i was a small child…I was really fancied by the little lazy daisy flowers my mom did on some pillow cases …

I also did a simple crochet edging to make it more beautiful..

eyelet embroidery stitch

I was attracted to this pattern to try some eyelet stitches on plain weave fabric. I used anchor variegated thread to stitch the eyelets..and i love the way it came out…and i loved that long and short stitch butterfly too…long and short stitch is always a beautiful filling stitch…

Thank you so much to everyone who took time to give me the feedback about my blog template change. Hope you can easily post your comments ..please let me know if you have any difficulty…

I have a small difficulty to follow few of my favorite blogs which are not in blogger…hope i can find a solution soon…

Until next time…

Have a nice day…nima

  14. Wow, that is sooo delicate and pretty Nima. Absolutely gorgeous. Did you do a free-hand drawing then if you did not trace? The crochet adds a special touch. Love the colours you have chosen too.

I love this design....I am copying it on a small tea towel...I love the knots but can't figure them out...they look to have a center (a lovely detail)..can you say what knots they are? Thanks
