Doilies with Flair

I learned to do crochet out of fancy towards doilies.
 Pineapples
Before i started to learn crochet, I thought it was an unreachable height.

Now i enjoy every moment when I'm with my crochet hook and thread. I enjoy more working with thread than with yarn.
I was working with all the fancied freebies available online. Now i thought i need some more challenging patterns to work with.
Recently i bought few books from Leisure Arts..and now I'm working on patterns from Doilies with flair…
doilies with flair
It has a nice collection of patterns by Sarah J Green.
It is rated as a beginner level book by the leisure arts.
If they have rated according to the size of the doily, yes it has beginner projects with just 12-18 rows.
But i think an advanced beginner who have worked on a variety of doily patterns can handle the patterns easily.
I have finished blocking 2 of the doilies…and few more are in different stages…
Here is a better picture of it …It is called Pineapples…

This one is scalloped Pineapples

You can expect more doily pictures here in coming days…because I'm playing with crochet hook and thread…
Thank you so much for stopping by…
Until next time..
Have a nice day..nima
